The Canadian Pakistani Association of Halton is going all in for Milton Culture Days this year. They’ll be hosting a vibrant photo booth in which participants will be invited to try on various cultural Pakistani clothing, and have their photo taken professionally in front of a colourful backdrop. All photos will later be uploaded to the Arts Milton Facebook page for you to share with family and friends! October 1, 10:00 am – 12:00 pm.
CPAH is also offering two cultural crafts for kids. On September 30 from 3:00 – 5:00 pm, kids can attempt mehndi using henna and pre-created designs. On October 1 from 3:00 – 5:00 pm, children can try their hand at block printing using carved wooden images, and various paint colours. These activities can be found in the Fieldgate Atrium at the North Entrance to the FirstOntario Arts Centre Milton.
Finally, CPAH member Hamna Ghalib will wow crowds with her henna application ability as part of Arts Milton’s Artist at Work stage. Find her there on September 30, from 2:00 – 5:00 pm in the Escarpment Hall.
