Guess what folks? Summer Days is back this summer, and performances will take place at the Downtown Milton Farmer’s Market on Saturdays in August. Shopping for your fruits and vegetables while listening to local musicians – it doesn’t get any better than this!!
In its infancy, this performance series began as Toast to the Arts, and was hosted by Arts Milton at the Milton Mall. From 2013 onwards, the program evolved into the Summer Days / Summer Nights series and features a variety of performance types.
Summer Days taps into the rich talent pool in our community by featuring artistic entrepreneurs and amateur performers from Milton and the surrounding area. Past performers include The Retrievers band, singer/songwriter Kevin Morse, dancers from The Dance Class dance studio, children’s poet and performer Tom Carson, Indian dance troupe Bharatham, Rick Imus Studio music students, MSAC Guitar Group, Campbellville Chamber Concerts and more.
This year Arts Milton is hosting the Aubrey Wilson Jazz Quartet, 10 year old DJ Zoomer, singer/songwriter duo Carrie & Lawrence, and talented pianist Ioulia Koznova.
See you there!
