There is nothing that speaks of a casual summer morning than the jazzy musical stylings of the Aubrey Wilson Quartet. The band is made up of Chris Bruder on piano, Tom Altobelli on bass, Sean Bruce Parker on drums and bandleader Aubrey Wilson on vocals.
Aubrey participated in Mohawk’s jazz choir, as well as performed at the 11th annual gala featuring Heather Bambrick. In addition, Aubrey sang backup during the Larry Carlton concert, recorded back up vocals for Nikki Jumper, and recorded at Grant Avenue Studios for the Mohawk College Christmas and Promotional C.D.
The Aubrey Wilson Quartet has been actively gigging in both the Hamilton and Toronto areas since 2012. “Together the band has a dynamic, high-energy sound over a range of jazz standards. They represent the next wave of jazz players in the city, bringing their own energy, experience, and musical sensibilities wherever they play.” – SteelCityJazz
Catch Aubrey and her crew doing an Arts Milton Summer Days Series performance at 10 am on August 19, 2017 at the Milton Farmer’s Market.
